In 2020, I helped launch an internal-facing education app and website serving 17,000 Sephora Beauty Advisors. My responsibilities included UX Design and visual design of the user interface (UI). I prepared and presented wireframes and mockups along the way for stakeholders. This image shows a prototype of the home screen with the logo and UI design that is very Sephora-centric.
In 2016, I designed, developed, and published a marketing website for a solar panel installation company based in Southern California. I worked one-on-one with the business owner to plan and produce the website. The website is a clean, simple, and beautiful design that features a standout header with the company logo and tagline. The tagline is optimized for SEO most search keywords. Plus, their phone number is easily accessible near the top. The website has an organized navigation menu near the top, and underneath the navigation menu is a vibrant image of the company’s recent solar panel installation project. Underneath the banner image are three marketing icons that describe the company's key offerings.The website is built on a content management system and the graphics were custom designed in Adobe Photoshop.
In 2015, I led the design and development of one of the Bay Area's premier ed-tech startups public-facing website design. The company taught kids k-12 how to code. I was responsible for the home page design plus other pages. I planned the user experience and worked within the company's content management system and optimizing page SEO. In this image, you see the website home page. The top section shows why the company is important. It has a 3-column layout that describes the three main reasons someone should have their child in the program. Underneath that, there is a section that describes what the company offers as far as teaching topics. The Teaching topics are vibrant and colorful icon images that match the color scheme of the company logo.
In 2014, I designed and developed a web template for a Snow Resort company. The template was first designed in Adobe Photoshop. Then, images were sliced and exported for web use. I embedded the images in a HTML and CSS web page file and optimized it for web viewing on all browsers and devices. In this image, you can see the visual layout of the email design and color theming as it matches the brand. The company logo is near the top, along with social media links, and navigation. A large graphic image spans the layout with a play button overlay that launches a marketing video when someone clicks it. Underneath the main graphic image, you will see a catchy headline and paragraph that entices readers to book with the resort at a discounted rate. This email design was published to 13,000 target users and had a 20% open rate, which is great for email advertising.
